Bill and Andrea O’Connor are registered yoga teachers from Burlngton, VT.
Both were both in the midst of successful 20-year careers in marketing and sales when they sought relief from the world of 12-hour workdays. They took up yoga in 2001 and found what they were looking for - an antidote to stress, injury, and aging.
Andrea left marketing and founded WorkingWell Inc. and Destinations Yoga. She now teaches yoga and Gyrotonic movement exclusively.
Bill teaches yoga several times a week while keeping his finger on the pulse of the wine business as a sales manager.

A short canoe trip or motorboat ride across a pristine Adirondack lake brings you to Camp Lifwynn. This rustic retreat center on Lake Chateaugay, New York sits amidst tall pines on an isolated point of land. It has a large dining hall with wood-fired kitchen, exposed-beam lodge with massive fireplace for yoga and ten cozy private cabins, all with wood stoves.
Today, the founder's descendants have retained the turn-of-the century flavor for guests. This is a rustic woods and mountain lake experience! Leave cell phones and computers and all your worries behind.
Gracious hosts for the weekend are Dr. Peter Guenther, from the original Burrow’s family that created the Camp, and his wife Paulette Thabault, of South Burlington, VT. They pick you up in the 16-foot motorboat ferry from a landing inX, New York. (a 90 minute drive from Burlington VT including the 20 minute ferry from Grand Isle. (goggle map)
As you set foot on the dock at Camp Lifwynn, you know a special experience awaits you. The deeply green, scented pine forest gently opens before you. For a swim, sail or kayack, the refreshing lake and soft breezes beckon. Hiking paths wind around the lake past old-growth fir trees.
Your quaint and cozy cabin has fresh sheets, a pitcher of cool spring drinking water and fresh flowers. You’ll need to bring sleeping bags. You’ll be walking over rooted paths to your cabin with a flashlight at night. The antique bowl with pitcher of heated water you carry is for washing up or a morning shave for men. Camp Lifwynn hosts will fire up the shower on Saturday for those who wish, using water from the Lake.
